Amazing race. The staff and volunteers were so great and friendly. Some of the best I’ve experienced. The aid stations were well stoked and there were lots of descriptions and info leading up to race. Only recommendation I have would be more porta potties at the start/finish. Thanks for a great race!

Great community feel. Not logistics friendly when running the relay. Parking very limited.
See Full ReviewCompleted leg 3 of the relay from Cardiac to Randall which started off with some rolling technical trails through the forest and ferns then narrowed to an open grassy single-track where there was some cross-traffic with the faster lead runners on the return to the finish (not ideal). I felt a little guilty passing many of the full distance runners on my fresh relay legs, but most seemed okay with it. Sadly it was a very foggy day with no views, but the temperature was perfect for running with a light mist and a cool 55 degrees. The aid station had some good options but I would have enjoyed a couple hot options as well given the misty day. Overall I'm glad to have tried a portion of this iconic race and I have huge respect for those who completed the full distance solo!
