Race Report
As the inaugural race in 2025, I felt like the race team did a very commendable job building and bringing in a community feel. I noticed this in both the lead up, via marketing and group training runs, and in the finish line village. I was a little unsure if I would like the course due to the amount of fire road, but actually found it a really fun route.
Race Tips Summary
Keep in mind there is a lot of vertical in a short amount of distance - it feels runnable or gradual but it builds up in your legs! Also, keep a keen eye on course flagging towards the finish; if you've run in this area before, the final mile or two may not be what you expect/are used to.
