Race Report
Great course and logistically the best easiest of the tahoe triathlons to do. Tends to be a little less crowded and competitive than the Lake Tahoe Triathlon but much easier for parking, packet pickup and more spacious and easier on the transition zones. Good for spectators, food and expo items ae very minimal but there is food nearby for any spectators.
Pro Tips for First-Time Racers
Prepare for the steep donner climb at the start of the bike portion, consider wider tires as the road is fairly rough for a few miles heading to kingvale and particularly for half ironman participants.
