Overall a great race but the finish line award was a towel, which I found astonishing and surprising due to the cost of the race. I have done 100k races for half the cost and received a cool finisher metal. I don't think it would be that hard nor add much cost.
Pro Tips for First-Time Racers
Start slow, you will be in a line of people until Deadwood or even through Devils Thumb but don't over exert yourself early. I went out too fast and paid the price later on.
