The hill in the race is tough, but not impossible. I was told that it was a brutal hill but training on SF hills helped mitigate how tough the hill could've been. The two most disappointing aspects were that the aid stations were all out of Biofreeze when I got to them. For such a well organized event, all of the aid stations didn't have enough Biofreeze for the racers. It made the race harder because my legs were screaming at me. The second thing was the lack of shuttles from the finish line back to the start line. I had to walk 45 minutes to get back to the start line. Public transportation was an option; however, they only took cash and I had no cash on me.
